FASHION REVOLUTION
Social Media Campaign
Fashion Revolution's existing social media campaign has been created to provoke curiosity in how our clothes are made and who made them.
To do this consumers need to get in contact with the brands they are buying from and ask the question 'Who Made My Clothes?' to discover all the people behind the process of the supply chain.
Their aim is to involve as many people as possible to get involved and take part. To inspire change in the fashion industry and reconnect broken links in the supply chain.
The Fashion Revolution campaign consists of; Firstly, taking a selfie which shows the branded label on your clothing, it's suggested you could also wear your clothes inside out for the day to make more of a statement. Secondly make sure you are following the brand on social media so as you can tag the brand in your post. The social media platforms that Fashion Revolution are using for this campaign are Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. You then would upload your selfie on one of these platforms with the message 'i want to thank the people who made my clothes.', tag the brand in the post and use the hashtag #whomademyclothes?
It then suggests nominating 3 friends to do the same thing to spread the message further and louder.
