Fashion Revolution already have a strong social media campaign that gives them a strong presence on facebook, twitter and instagram. Therefore we are not looking to change what they do already, we are looking to create a short campaign to co inside with the Fashion Revolution event that promotes what our poster stands for The Living Wage vs The Garment Workers Wage.

The Idea:

What social media?

The campaign has been designed specifically for twitter and instagram.

How it will work:

We will get people to take pictures of 1 or more of the six key areas that the living wage is able to cover. They will then hash tag the image with;

#whatdoesyourlivingwagecover

#thelivingwage

#fashrev

This will get people talking about the inequality in the world and how much some people are able to get and how little others are able to afford.

The first image is an example of clothes, the second of transport and the third of food. All these show what someone can get with their living wage.

Whats the aim?

To educate people in what a living wage is and the disparties that are occuring among garment workers wages across the world in relation to the living wage.

Its to build up to the event to give people an insight to what they will see on the day and also after the event to remind them and enage with people who may not have been able to attend.
