Inspiration from Graphics

Once we had decided to do our Fashion Revolution exhibition on the Living Wage in comparison to the Garment Worker’s Wage, we sourced inspiration for our infographics, from the Information is Beautiful book. We want to create clear graphics, that are visually impactful and insightful.

1) We like the clear, clean cut shaped symbols. We are able to tell what the shapes represent, without having to read the caption.

2) Again the clean cut graphics are easy to read and understand. We like the difference in the size of the symbols, used to reiterate the figure and statement given.

3) The black and white layout allows the graphics to easily stand out.

4) This graphic, highlights the facial hair on certain indiviudlas. It is a clever and fun way to portray information.
