After looking at business in the UK, we realsied that we were going off topic and when back to the title given to Falmouth the 'Living Wage'. We brainstormed different ideas of how we could go about creating infographics.

 

The ideas: 

-Show workers basic needs (food, water, shelter, clothing ect.) This is looking at what workers should be able to afforf with a living wage. We could then look into as a % how much of a wage is spent on each. 

 

-Minimum wage VS the living wage

 

-Look at the minimum wage worker and create a pen portarit (the life of a worker)

 

-The percentage of workers that do not recieve addtional pay for over time

 

-Break down the cost of a t-shirt=how much does the worker receive?

 

-Wage comparisons look at breaking up the supply chain:

*CEO of a comapny

*Store manger

*Retail Worker

*Factory Worker

*Cotton Picker

*Spinning Mill Worker 

 

-Look at companies who:

say nothing

show a small amount 

a little effort

trying to do something 

on the way 

 

-Comparisons to show how manufacturing has increased= show speed of fast fashion
